Service Agreement Renewal

This agreement will automatically renew each year and will continue to do so unless otherwise instructed. The auto-renewal is Akron Canton Lawn Cares Policy so that we may properly service your lawn each Spring. Customer account may be terminated by either party at any time, providing written notice has been presented with, at least, 24 (twenty-four) hours notice. Written notice(s) may be provided by either standard mail service, email or text messaging. If at the time of termination, the customer has an outstanding balance, the balance must be paid along with the written notice.

The following outlines approximate time periods for customer applications. The dates provided pertain to Akron Canton Lawn Cares standard 5 Treatment Plan, any additional service times may vary depending upon the treatment selected and the seasonal conditions. Proposed treatment dates: 1ST app, April 12-May 6, 2ND app, May 26-June 20, 3RD app July 7-July 25, 4TH app August 10-September 3, 5TH app September 13-October 10; Alternative treatment dates #1: 1ST app March 15-April 15, 2ND app May 4-May 28, 3RD app June 7-July 3, 4TH app July 21-August 14, 5TH app August 23-September 17 ; Alternative treatment dates #2: 1ST app, May 5-May 29, 2ND app June 15 July 9, 3RD app July 20-August 13, 4TH app August 29-September 24, 5TH app October 7-November 5.
Service dates outlined above may be altered at the discretion of Akron Canton Lawn Care in an effort to provide the customer with proper and timely applications.

The customer acknowledges and understands that by signing this service agreement they are giving full approval for Akron Canton Lawn Care to make appropriate alterations to their treatment plan. Further, the customer also understands they may request that Akron Canton Lawn Care provide specific dates for applications.

Product Effectiveness
No guarantees are either expressed or implied in regards to application(s) of pest treatment products. Effectiveness will vary due to individual circumstances. Akron Canton Lawn Care will guarantee that all products will be applied to manufacturer specifications, but can not be held liable for the effectiveness of said product(s).

Products And Usage

Akron Canton Lawn Care will provide the customer, in writing, the products being used for each application.
As per ORC 901:5-11-09 Akron Canton Lawn Care will provide the customer the common name of each product, the type of product, any special instructions for these products, along with our contact information and the date and time of application. Customer agrees to follow any special instructions outlined in the information provided at each treatment.(ie watering in specific products, not accessing the lawn for the determined amount of time, ect.) Customer acknowledges that treatment of sizable areas of yellow nutsedge or wild violet infestation(s) is not part of our standard weed control program.
Akron Canton Lawn Care will also provide adequate marking of the property at the time of application. This marking should remain for a period of, at least, 24 (twenty-four) hours after customers application. Akron Canton Lawn Care can not be held accountable for any/all circumstance arsing from the removal of property markings before the amount of time outlined above.

Property Access

The customer agrees to give Akron Canton Lawn Care access to the proper application cycle. It is also understood that if a portion or portions of the property are not accessible due to fences/ other structures, customer must provide Akron Canton Lawn Care reasonable access to those areas if they are to be treated. Akron Canton Lawn Care can not be held responsible for lack of treatment to said areas if access is denied.

Aeration

Customers who choose to add aeration services to their yearly service understand the following; Akron Canton Lawn Care will not be held responsible for damage to low voltage outdoor lighting lines, invisible dog fences, buried DSL cable lines, sprinkler heads or underground water lines or any/all other lines, cables or plumbing. It is the Clients responsibility to inform Akron Canton Lawn Care of any/all lines. It is also the Clients responsibility to properly mark all of the previously outlined underground lines or cables.

Akron Canton Lawn Care can not be held liable in the event proper cultural practices are not followed: Improper or over-watering of the lawn may hinder the effectiveness of certain products used to treat the customers lawn , always follow watering suggestions outlined on your application notice. The bagging and discarding of grass clippings may also hinder the effectiveness of products used in the treatment of the lawn, collection of grass clippings is not suggested. Improper cutting height, the height in which the lawn is cut is the most important of all cultural practices, Akron Canton Lawn Care suggests a cutting height of no less than 3 inches. Cutting the lawn below 3 inches voids any/all guarantees for product effectiveness and Akron Canton Lawn Care can not be held responsible for an undesired outcome of an application program in the event the lawn is improperly maintained.

Acceptance Of Payment Terms

Customer acknowledges that the signing of this agreement is acceptance of payment terms as follows: Customers choosing to pay on a per treatment basis must provide Akron Canton Lawn Care with payment on services rendered within 10 (ten) days of invoicing date. No discounts, either expressed or implied will be valid on a customers account with an outstanding balance. Balance must be kept current in order for the customer to receive discount(s). Prepayment discount will be assessed at the time of purchase.
